I love the small, seemingly insignificant ephemera of our lives. My bright, colorful portraits and landscapes are often created using materials from the people and places I paint. My first love was quilting and I believe that comes through in my heavily pieced work. Last year, I won WPSU’s Art for the Airwaves contest for my landscape collage, The Road Home. My collage paintings are also shown at The Makery and The State College Framing Company in State College and occasionally at the Art Alliance's Downtown State College Gallery.
