I am a self-taught watercolor artist/calligrapher. While taking time away from the business world to raise my family, I found time to develop my love of drawing again. I began experimenting with different mediums which included lettering arts. I quickly realized that calligraphy and watercolor worked as a great combination for the one of a kind commission projects I enjoy. As my experience with watercolors has developed over the years it has become the best way for me to express myself. I strive to create pieces that represent nature in a way that is true to both habitat and surroundings. My work is shaped out of my appreciation and fascination of nature’s smaller creatures as I try to capture and express their unique characteristics. I hope my work draws you in to a quiet and reflective place where you can enjoy and appreciate the everyday rhythms of our natural world so often overlooked.
