My name is Lisa Marie Cirincione and I’m from New Kensington, PA. I moved to State College in 2015 to live with my husband Mark, who is from the area. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1985 with a B.S. in Communications Media and from Duquesne University in 1999 with an M.S. in Education.
For the past 30+ years I have been a television computer graphics operator for live sports events and have had the opportunity to work for all the major networks including NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, ESPN, Tennis Channel and Golf Channel.
One of the best things about my job is that it gives me the opportunity to travel the world. I’ve been to 6 continents, 24 countries/territories and 48 U.S. states. I always have a camera with me. I enjoy artfully documenting my travels by showing the culture, landscape, architecture and people of the places I’ve visited. I also experience the joy of sharing these images with my family and friends. Printing, framing and exhibiting my photos is a new way for me to share the pleasure of my travels.
Learning new photography techniques and new technology are a passion for me and I am also fascinated by the old school ways of film and darkroom. I believe the “best camera is the one you have with you” and “always look for the light!”
