Originally from the Netherlands, Jet Schneider received her M.A. as a German teacher and translator from the University of Leiden. She has taught German, Dutch, and English as a Second Language, and translated articles in the Netherlands as well as in the United States.
In recent years Schneider completed training in spiritual direction/companioning, and she now works in this field. She has had a love for the creative arts since she was a child, and she uses creativity in her work as a way for people to connect with their deepest selves.
She likes to focus on what connects people, rather than on what divides them, and strives to embody this theme in her artistic work.
Schneider and her husband Don have two grown sons and enjoy living in the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania with their seven cats, most of whom are rescues.
