Lelaina Scott is a State College, Pennsylvania based artist currently studying visual arts and music studies at pennsylvania state university. She teaches a painting class at Penn State and works part time as a local barista surrounded by other creative people and friends :)
Creating has always been a huge part of my life : painting, drawing, writing, photography or making and producing music. being able to express myself and share that with those who inspire me is where my passion for art comes from. it started with musicians - hence “Off The Record” - but quickly branched out into other sources of creative inspiration. music is still the biggest part of my creative life and inspiration while I enjoy visual arts - and vice versa really. Passion for the arts in fellow artists and those who inspire me is the root of where a lot of my paintings com from. that may be the subject of the painting, the inspiration for a color palette, or a planned piece. poems and photography, albums and musicians.
