"The Rescue" is an original fairytale and handmade stop motion animation short film by Elody Gyekis created in 2018 and 2019. It is the story of a Prince (AKA the Dandy in Distress) a Knight in Shining Armor (the Damsel of Dominance) and a Lonely Dragon. Puppets, sets, lighting, camerawork, editing, and sound design by Elody Gyekis. The original Harp Music was created and recorded by Harold Taddy for this film. Most sound effects, including the dragon's voice, were created, recorded and edited by Elody. Some of the nature-related sound effects, including crickets and bird calls, are from Yellowstone National Park's free sound library.
