Impressions of Happy Valley (ImHV) is a collection of painterly images created by International Photographer Kevin D. Reilly.  A State College native, Kevin was the owner of an advertising photography studio in Philadelphia for 30 years, Oh! Reilly Photography. The digital painterly process is something Kevin had been working on for years before perfecting the process during his Master’s studies at Penn State University.  Done in Photoshop’s Oil Paint filter in a classic Impressionistic style, the painterly image is faded to reveal some of the original image resulting in the final images you see in exhibitions.

Kevin will also launch a sample from a new body of photography titled "Megacosm".

Living in Center City Philadelphia for 30 years, International Photographer Kevin D. Reilly never had a clear viewpoint for sunset horizons without buildings and wires always getting in the way.  Moving to the rural mountains of Pennsylvania in 2008, Kevin found a clear vista just a short drive from his house.  Capturing sunsets with picturesque clouds is a rarely available event.  Images displayed here are samples from hundreds of images taken over many years.
