Shiny Bits by Jim Colbert is a collection of (mostly) graphite drawings focusing on details of
classic cars and motorcycles. In these works we find a Sheeler-like geometry of parallel and
intersecting lines, the contrasting textures of alloy and rubber, and the fluid gloss of reflections
on polished chrome or lacquer, defining the often sensual shapes of the vehicles.
