Art empowers people living with cognitive and visual challenges to express themselves through creative expression in artistic mediums. Art provides opportunities for individuals living with unique challenges to express their impressions and feelings. The BAM's exhibition aims to bring these perspectives and expression to our community.

Art organizations can help neurodiverse artists enjoy the feeling of visual expression by supporting their work and by teaching strategies of creative expression. Through exhibiting their art works, the Bellefonte Art Museum wants to shift the perception of impairment from "incapable" to "capable" for artists living with challenges This is our goal in the exhibition "Art is Limitless".
