Selections From The Anxiety Project:
William J. Doan, Ph.D. is a visual and performing artist who lives with anxiety and depression. His work is generated from that fundamental truth. He makes work to build resilience, fight stigma, and stay connected to the world. Drawing as a form of meditation is part of his daily practice. Almost five years ago, he started the Anxiety Project, launching the first series of drawings and a performance at Dixon Place Theatre in NYC. All the work in this exhibition is part of the Anxiety Project.
