Lullaby Land - The Process of a Picture Book
A Child's bedtime story; a wonderland of dreams

It's what dreams are made of...
Fall asleep and enter Lullaby Land,
a wonderland of dreams.
Sunshine and rainbows and white puffy clouds.
Smiles, giggles and laughter, a land where you'll be
happy, happily ever after.

Poet and author, Rhonda J. Beard, shares her journey and process in the making of Lullaby Land.
Rhonda J. Beard grew up in a small rural town in Central Pennsylvania. As long as she can remember, she loved poetry. The great outdoors, animals and nature were all around which inspired her to write poetry, stories and rhymes. Becoming a Wife, Mother, and then a Nana, provided more inspiration and more to write about!

Artist and illustrator, Brittanny Handiboe, will be exhibiting her original watercolor paintings from Lullaby Land.
B.handi is a children's book illustrator and proud mommy born and raised just south of Baltimore. She doodled in her picture books as a child because her dream was to simply add her own pictures to the words. That dream hasn't changed too much besides, well, doodling in other children's books. Her illustrations in Lullaby Land is a reflection of what she loves in a picture book, a nostalgic, cozy, bedtime story.
